The thing is, I have worked from home for the better part of 10 years: I promise you, this will work. Many awesome people are writing lists, tips and advice on how to adjust: how to work with your kid(s) around (I have a 2.5 year old daughter), what routines, do’s and dont’s… I am sorry to disappoint but my advice is as basic as they come: test and error. You working in pyjamas, eating by your laptop or working from your bedroom does not bother me… as far as it works for you! Be a bit more introspective these days, be honest with yourself and your family and colleagues: what is working, what clicks, what doesn’t. And remember: we are all on the same boat, we are all cutting each other some slack. Speaking of which: Slack, Whatsapp, Skype, lots of tools out there for you to stay connected.
Last but certainly not least: these are hard times, special times. Make sure you and your loved ones are feeling well. Stay safe and stay positive. We will get over this! Our motto is “Bringing People Together”. I simply add: “… on-site, online or whatever it takes!”)
